: Will a SJ410 engine mate to a LJ80 tranny?

Just wondering if a person could mate a SJ410 engine to a LJ80 tranny? Someone asked me and I couldn't give them an answer.

Can it be done????:confused: :confused: :rasta:

Yes they do but don't

The LJ 4 speed box is pants and regularly loses 3rd gear.

The transfer box is equally cheesy.

If you want slightly lower gearing for a 410 by all means swap in the LJ diffs.
