I've gone up Hell's Gate, and it's so steep that you can't see the terrain in front of you. You have to totally rely on your spotter. I don't think drove bad, so much as she chose a poor spotter.

Doesnt look like she was listening to her spotter. He was telling her to go right, but she kept going left. She also stayed into waaaay too long. That looks like it was an easily avoided roll if she'd of just put the clutch in when she started to lift a tire. At least that's how it looks from here.

When you're going over backwards and still throttling it there has to be something wrong behind the wheel. That would be the driver. But I suppose that this lesson has been learned now and hopefully they'll be better for it.
