Question for those wheelers in Alaska.
What's the outlook on finding a FJ40, 45, in Alaska?
Can you buy in Canada and bring back to Alaska?
I had to recently sell my cruzah, so I will be looking for a project in the near future, I am hoping that I will be able to pick up another one up there.:skull:

Chances are good for a 40, 45's are rare, just as everywhere else. You going to be looking in the Anchorage area? PM me.

If you're looking for a 40 in Anchorage, look out for a guy by the name of Dave. He sells junker bondo ones that look pretty good if you're not really on the ball. Pinto steering, bondo, funky carbs, the works. Sold a few of those junkers, too.

Other than that, there's quite a few 40's around per capita, I'd say...I see at least one new one a week, and usually 3 or 4 a day of ones I know of driving around.

Get ahold of Mark Whatley, he usually knows of good ones for sale :-)
