Does anyone use, or have used, this style tire? I'm considering buying a set. Any comments? I've read a few reviews but would rather here it from someone who actually has a set.
Thanks:usa:

I run that size MTR on my 98 TJ and I can't really say anything bad about them. I've seen them go anywhere swampers will go and I know first hand they ride alot better on the street. You won't regret them.

While not all of us are bad ass to have 37's, do 38's count?

I have MT/R's and while I can't say anything bad about.........Yes I can. They SUCK in mud and gumbo. But other than that they are pretty good tires. A little louder than the BFG's I have had, but not bad.

I just put a set of 35" MTR's on my rig about a week ago, and I can say they make a nice street tire, but I havent gotten them out to the dirt yet. I was going to go with a bias swamper, but I changed jobs, and I didnt really feel like driving 140 miles a day on bias swampers, so I went with MTR's. If Im dissapointed with them offroad, I'll keep them as street tires and get a set of real offroad tires

I disagree (respectfully, of course). :flipoff2: BFG are way louder than good year MTRs. But that's what I love about BFGs.

Hey don't knock 33s, they put the challenge back into an otherwise mundane trail.
