I have an 86 Runner with a newer 22RE, Cam (2300-up RPM powerband), header, Magnaflow, highflow cat, IFS still, 4:30 gear ratio, 33" mickey Thompson Baja Claws, sliders, and a custom stinger:D , But it is an automatic........:shaking: Is it possible to make a bad ass Crawler (Dual cases, straight Axle, etc) but still keep it an automatic?????:confused: I like the automatic cause my Gal wheels too, but we only have my 4Runner, and she cannot drive a stick. So a swap is out. What do i need to do? Stall converter? Regear the front and rear diffs? I seek all that is helpful.

As far as the dual case setup, it would help, but it greatly depends on the tranny you have. Some are removable cases, I've heard of ones that aren't, therefore no dual case option. You can try to regear, but it's only going to help so much.
