Your L/C has a typical 4 inch, leaf suspention lift and you notice that the shackle bushings are wearing out prematurely. Further more, every time you make a turn the leaves twist and nock at the shackles.
To eliminate this slop, you need 300 LBS test, plastic pallet strapping material. Simply make a loop with the strap from one spring to the other, close to the shackle, but not on the shackle, and sinch the strap so it remains in tension. The spring leaf slop is now eliminated, while the suspension travel is maintained!

I got fed up replacing bushings every year and twisted shackles every three years on my ARB 4" raised suspension. Thats the practical side of it.

Figured I would inform you all. (That's the theoretical side of it :D )
