I'm looking to join/form a Willys group that will run the Rubicon Trail in '07. I'm thinking, "old school" "vintage" rigs running the con in number. A wheel what you got, coyote eating a rabbit, get-ur-done, early Rick Pewe, Granville King sort of thing. Something open to all Willys CJ's, Wagons, Trucks whatever model you want to push, pull or drive. Ideas, links, suggestions please. Post your thoughts and lets make it happen. I haven't a set a exact date. End of June/early July. I will be spending about a week there camping and running my 3A through. If nothing else join up with me. If you can get it to the trail head, I'll do my best to help you get it through. :cool2:

Sally, glad to hear from you. Unless I hear of a group to join up with. I will be shooting for last week of June or 1st week of July.

Tempting...or I might just "borrow" one for the weekend. My buddy has a '55 pickup. Love those things.

Check with Paul at Willys America, he is part of the West Coast Willys club. They do a run through the Rubicon each year, including older Willys pickups.

you might want to put a shout out to the west coast willys club/website. westcoastwillys.com there are a lot of old school willy's owners that love to wheel in that club.
