Simple Question -
I am hating the size of the fuel tank - now that its my daily driver I'm filling it up all the time.:mad3: Need some suggestions on best way to modify/replace/add-a-fuel tank.
Also, best/recommended types (poly, etc.) vendors, tips, things/companies to avoid... etc.
Advice appreciated

I use the stock one and also have a rear aux tank.
Stock tank 15 gallons
Confer Aux 22 gallons
For a total of 37 gallons :)
The way I have it set up is that, there is a switch on my dash that with a flip of the switch it, pumps from the rear 22 gal into the stock tank. Also another switch tells how much gas I have in the rear tank vs the front.
You can have a switch that pulls from one tank to the other.
BTW spector and man-fre sells the tanks.

examples; BTW these can be run together but that is a lot of heavy fuel.

WHere did the dual tank that goes under the seat come from? Interested to see how much that thing is.

I found it:
Man-A-Fre - #LR2940REP - $499.00 plus shipping.
I don't think that will be making it on my rig.

that's exactly what I was looking for... at least the illusion of good gas mileage :) btw..anyone done this got any advice or watch-outs (is this a 2hr install, a whole weekend job, or what)?
Im looking at replacing the stock tank with the double 28 gal, instead of adding the aux... unless adding the aux setup is a better/cheaper option, including the addl pump, switches etc.

Its longer then 2 hrs, let me recall what I remember: I have a ful 6 point cage so it was a tight squeeze...pull old tank and filler neck about 45 mins or so, add 15 if you need to drain tank, dry fit new tank...its akward as hell but can be done by one person...about 30 mins...modify front seat mount 20 mins, pull tank and re-set tank to drill holes, 30 mins...modify filler tube and fit all hoses 30 mins then test fill and install seats and other parts...20 mins....overall not bad but in off camber situations the tank will not supply fuel all the time bby design....recommend custom tank with dual fuel supply lines from both left and right....will improve fuel pick-up.....
