I've got an 88 5.0L TBI engine and need a "low profile" oil pan at the front half of the pan. This is a one piece oil seal type application.

Does anyone know of a stock application for such a pan? Or am I stuck going with AA or Jags That Run at $250:(

you should have a 5 quart system on that car, 4 or so in the pan and whatever the filter holds.

I have a 1990 cadillac touring sedan deville front wheel drive with a 4.9 v8. From talking to some people lots of stuff interchanges. You might research the part and see if the pan is any different on it than yours, the engine sits sideways like all fwds do and off hand the shape is different. but I think it may be too different in the back. find a totalled one to go look at would be my best opinion.

This is not the northstar, it is suppossedly a very aluminum intensive engine caddy had, no others had a big v8 fwd in 1990 and the caddy has a stupid self leveling system as well.

I was going to skip a reply, but since no one offered any help, you might as well look around and see what you can find.

For a rwd setup, you have one of the lower profile oil pans.
