I have a 93 yota with the gear drive t case and another spair tranny and t case. But they are both foward control t cases can i use them or do i need the top control t cases? And the yota is a 4 banger.

I was told Marlin can supply you with a shift rod conversion to make your forward case a top shift for the rear box.

You either need to get the topshift kit from marlin, witch does require the t-case to be disassembled. Or get a t-case from a 79-83, or a 85-88 EFI 4cyl truck/runner. It will bolt up and solve your problem.
