the nut itself.

It is a 43 or 44mm bolt
Can't remember????
I sometimes use a big ????SAE socket.
I use an impact, but you can disable the ign. and use the starter to turn the nut off.
Be sure to bend the "tabs" on the keeper ring back.

the sae size that works is 1 and 13/16:jeep3:

46mm is metric size-

use breaker bar and socket and bump starter over to bust the nut loose (gently here folks). I belive the threaded holes are 10mm x 1.25 for the puller.
