You mean the front and rear grey plastic?? Don't think he cares about how it looks whether its ugly or not but I can't imagine they serve a real purpose....I'll have to ask him...good question....I'll post back here if I find out...

what class is he racing in? and would like some specs on the xterra.:D

The class he is racing reqiures the stock bumper to be retained.(class 3000 IIRC?)

He has raced in 4 races so far and raced in 3 different classes...Class 3100, Class 3000, and lastly the prerunner/sportsman 1800 class...reasons for the changes being a # of modifications to the front suspension, some of which have been ruled to be outside of what is allowed in the 3100 class...He is basicly using the '06 season to run a # of different setups to figure out which runs best and then will settle into a particular class in '07...This truck is the stablemate of Alan Gerber's BITD class 1000 buggy who has more or less wrapped up the championship for that division this year....

No...Both Dave and Alan have run the 1000 in the past but both are concentrating on the BITD series for now...They are based out of UT...I can provide contact info to you on them if you wanted to speak with them...

Thats why I said "more or less" Ya never know what can happen!! Yeah, the X was overheating so they just ripped out the grill and it pretty much ran fine the rest of the way with the better airflow...and they were able to finish all the laps they were allowed to run before the "Grand Prix Finish" I'll be out there again pitting for both teams for the Henderson's as well...Good luck to you guys as well!!
