I forgot to get the year of the truck but it looks like an 80's or early 90 model truck. Ity has a rear D60 axle but the front I am not sure about. The front axle is a LP axle but it has 8 lugs. Is this axle a LP D44 axle?

The truck is complete and I think it had an auto trans. I was hoping the 8 lug front axle parts would be worth something. thanks bob

if its a 3/4 ton truck, its probably a 8 lug D44. if its one ton, its probably a D60. an easy way to tell is the difference between the two is the 44 will have ball joints, the 60 kingpins.

Like Duane said, if it has ball joints then it is a 44, kingpins, a 60.

Some 3/4 ton's had 60's in the front, so check it out.

I never thought to look for the king pins. I saw the LP axle and never thought to look any further. Either way I would guess the LP axle is worth grabbing for the 8 lug parts. I'll post back when I look at it again.
