Hey Guys,
A buddy of mine is getting ready to get rid a project that he has no interest in any more. It is an older Chevy Luv, it is 4 wheel drive, IFS 1.9l. I am thinkning about picking it up and making a trail truck outta it. The drive train is in good shape and the motor is just rebuilt. I can get it for $300.
Any thoughts?

It would make a good DD while building a trail rig with more potential.

Well it doesn't have much to do with fords I guess. But since I have a ford and preffer it, it was jsut a thought I wanted to get different opinions so I posted it here where I have something in common this group..

Sounds nice and light. You can probably put a set of solid toyota axles under it, cut most of the body away from it, put a cage on it, lock it and have a fun little truck! And so the guys on the board will give you some slack, throw a set of Ford hubcaps on there. :flipoff2:

Thanks for all the advice on the truck. I decided to go ahead and pick it up. Gonna lose the front suspension, hit the Bone yard and put a solid front on it. Build a cage for it, lock em see what it can do. Also 1 more thing, it will always be on a trailer behind my Bronco!
