finally cleared the engine codes for my toy/ford swap. apparently i never hooked up the harness to the lower side of the engeine. even cut the top half plug off 3 days agofiguring that it wasnt needed. so a little splice work and everything is perfect. just gotta clear a realy code and its off to the ref to get the cert. and back aon the road.. been trying this for 4 months or better and all i had to do was plug it together.

so am i, now the friggin code 87 wont go away. says no fuel pump relay . but hook it up and it wont clear. joy new thing to figure out. but at least the engine is clear.

If you don't mind, pm me how smooth things go with the referee when you do it. I was considering a 5.0 swap for mine, but had the V6 checked and they said it was still very strong, so I'm going to stick with it for a little while. The big factor, was having to hassle with smog.
