I'm asking this in the Ford forum because I know this is a Ford carburetor I have questions about, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Anyway,
I have a Buick 225 V-6 in my CJ-5 and the carb is shot, and I'd like to put a Motorcraft 2100 carb on it with the 1.08 venturi's. Anyone know where I can buy a new/rebuilt one. No junkyards around here have one, and also does anyone know the exact part number from where they got it (summit, autozone, etc.), and do I need an adapter plate for the carb to my manifold or anything? Thanks.

Should be able to order one from any parts store

Couldnt tell you the part #, but most likely just ask for some kind of a 289/302 application.

Or, you could try Pony carburetors- will cost more, but should be a superior carb setup if you call them and explain what you are doing with it.

Cant swear to it, but from what I have seen, the buick pattern looks just like a Ford 2v- like I said, cant say for shure.

Are the linkage races wallered out, or is it a matter of new seals and such?

A rebuild it is ~$30, and the 2100 is really friendly to rebuild. I rebuilt my last one on my lunch hour at work. One of the guys I worked with was a carb wizard, and he walked me through it. It worked like a champ.
