Post up info on vensdors you recommend in the Bay Area.

Dublin - Minute Muffler, great custom work, and he has a CJ6 :)

Livermore - Bayshore trucks - driveshafts, parts, etc

Monument auto parts - kick ass old school style stores where the people behind the counter actually know their stuff well

B-rad fab in the East Bay (Pm "Brad" on the board, or call him at 707-208-2499for all you custom fab needs).

Wicked Fabs in Santa Clara

Ryan (owner) has worked on the last three rigs ive owned. Always a pleasure to deal and provides quality work. Can either slam and bag your rig or give it the one ton rock crawling treatment.

here is my current rig - coming along nicely

South Bay Driveline

got their card in front of me from when my friend had some driveshafts made. good quality and good price. In their office they have all the sick rigs theyve supplied shafts for, everything from buggys and boggers to drag cars.

Monument Auto Parts in Pacheco is nice - like they said, parts people, not monkeys.

Concord Driveline - good prices and fast service. They extended my rear drive shaft, and originally built the front driveshaft (but bought from Jim@InchwormGear)

Old Time Gararge in Pinole is willing to do 'you bring the parts, we'll do the work'.

Rockriders in Hayward. Jeddi has a great stock or aftermarket Jeep parts, soft tops, doors, bumpers, wheels, fender flares, and a lot of hard to find parts, new and used. If he does not have it, chances are he can find it for you.

Rockriders?

I never heard of it..... I checked the website and They guy actually has the softtop rear window rod that I have been missing for 3 years!

Where are they at? I could not find an address on thier site. Is it just an online store?

The only Jeep place in Hayward I know about is Archer Brothers.....

Monument?
Have you guys been in there lately?
They've been turning into Kragens.
I actually got the "Who makes International Scouts" from a guy last year.

Pacheco & Livermore still have a few good guys left, but the rest are trying to be corporate auto parts chain places.

If your in Concord, Check out CA Auto on Clayton Road. 925-685-7656
Clair has been running the little parts store for 20+ years and knows his stuff. He also likes to Hunt & has Jeep.

The Rear End Shop- Here in Livermore. I had my locker and new bearings installed by them. Very fast, very reasonable prices as compared to the other place I checked out, knowledgable, ref's to backup their work and very friendly.
