I bought an adapter for my early bronc the adapter is to mate a np435 to a dodge 203 range box. This is not the adapter that I wanted it is the adapter for the 435 with the long output shaft. I was wondering if there is a way to maybe cut the adapters ends off and weld them together then shorten the output shaft and have it resplined? Any help would be apretiated or if someone has a short adapter or another way to mate the 435 to the 203 without the long adapter. Thanks EBK
