Any scout dudes in the reno area? I am looking for some people to wheel with. Are these forums supposed to be chat/ tech or both?

Doesnt have to be scout only. I think I have the only modified scout in my whole county. I have seen a few scouts around, but there usually sportn 235/75/15's. Thats not bad for the folks that have them, but I am interested in going with similar built rigs.

That Scout had a very nice body on it. Too bad it had the 4banger in it, you only got 1/2 of a real engine so it didnt really count as a real Scout.

Binderbasher,

Darren just got his mostly built ScoutII here and I think all he really needs to do is put the military sterlings on it and get some new 44s to run. So it may be a race to see if he or I get finished first. I'm starting Sunday on the engine/tranny swap and next weekend I'm picking up my beadlocks and 38s.

ok I guess you could include me, a bit of an IH fanatic, but not into stockers... of course unless your looking for parts...

My funds are low for the moment + I'm saving for a wedding in Hawaii this next July, just getting my '67 T-all up & running need to flush out the tanks before i can drive it, + later i'm gonna throw some chevy lift springs unders it with a D60/14 Bolt, 4.56's & run 37" toyos [after i get some play $$ together]

gonna throw a fresh motor/t19L/D300 in my Terra so I can wheel,

could also toss the bed & front fenders on my old farm truck [72 1210] throw on some 38's & go for broke,

@ some point I need to get back to my 72 Scout SOA GM D60/14 Bolt 4.56's, reverse shackle, extended wheel base, 38's....
need to move the rear axle back a few inches, probably go with some chevy springs or ??

I have way to many projects & not enough time or $$

{presently wrenching on my 71 Nova}

also have a air over hydruailic JE5(?) tubing bender 1.5", 1.75", 2.0" dies
that i need to set up so I can start building some cages....
