Chasing / Pit Support for the 2006 Baja 1000

If any of you need help with chasing, pit support etc. for this years Baja 1000, or if you want to volunteer for chasing or pit support lets post up here.

I'll go first. I'm interested in chasing, am in Phoenix AZ and am available from Tuesday afternoon/evening 11/14 through Sunday night 11/19. Due to the time it will take to get back from the lower portions of the course I can probably only chase the first half of the race. I've been involved in desert racing for 10 years and have supported about 12 Mexico races. Depending on the situation I might consider using my own pickup but would prefer to ride with someone. I am headed down on Saturday 11/11 to prerun and watch the race. I plan to start in San Felipe and to head south from there. I am traveling with a buddy with our dirtbikes in the back of his F150 (stock). We lost our third man who was going to chase for us. We were going to rotate, two guys ride, one guy drives until we got to San Ignacio. My buddy got hit by a drunk driver and had to back out as his wife needs his attention at this point. I have chased before and I will be happy to help in the northern section as well if anyone needs help. I would really prefer to help people prerun (kinda helping you to help me:D ), but if pit services are needed as well I may be able to help??? Please don't get me wrong, I am not out for myself here. I really like the racing, I just want to get some prerunning in as well. Not looking for any $ or anything but some traveling buddies or safety (in numbers). If you need help PM me so we can see what can be done. If we need to go through Ensenada, we can do that as well.
