I have a 327 (350 heads)with the Edelbrock performer manifold and camshaft (hydraulic). I am converting to '88 TBI heads, manifold, and intake and the whole TBI system/computer. Will the performer camshaft I now have present any problems with the computer setup? Should I change to a cam for a TBI/computer setup?
Thanks in advance

You definately want to match the cam to the EFI system. If you are good with electronics you can reprogram the eprom to match the cam you are using. There are free tools available (try http://www.diy-efi.org to getstarted). With lots of study and practice (not to mention several hundred dollars of equipment :-) ) you can do almost anything with a GM ecm... but the best way to plug on in an go playing is to get a computer matched cam.
Call your cam manufacturer of choice and get a recomendation.
