I wanna catch crabs this weekend

Any suggestions? I was thinking about going out to Lawsons Landing in Tomalas or out to Pacifica pier. I imagine Pacifica will be a bit more crowded, but the fishing will be better. I haven't crabbed or fished at Tomalas but I hear the crabbing is better this time of year but the fishing is pretty slow. Pacifica also has perch to catch.
