I have been looking around for info on a lift for my garage. I have a TJ with an RE long arm suspension. Was wondering what other people have used that works, and if there were issues with the suspension links getting in the way. I like the idea of a low/mid rise lift like Rotary makes, http://www.rotarylift.com/. All I am looking to do is get the weight of the jeep off the tires and onto something more stable then jack stands and blocks under the frame. Any other ideas?

thanks, peter

bad link....

Only way you are going to get more stable than jackstands is to go to a 4-post lift. a 2-post is still rather wobbly.. but safe enough to work under. We have a 6k # napa 2-post lift and a 9k# (cant remember brand) asymetrical 2-post.. they both work like a dream.... we never could afford to buy one... waited almost 12 years for our lifts.. then one day.. low and behold... tranny shop going out fo buisness... got em both for $3k.:D
