I decided to build my own version of a JD2 bender but with much thicker arms to eliminate bending or breaking them which I have read of.
Since I was building one I decided to make 2 at the same time. So I am selling one.
The main arms are made from 1" cold rolled steel (1018). JD2 uses 1/2". The main arms also have flanged bronze bushing installed (see link below) to ease pin removal and prevent galling.
The swing arms are made from 3/4" cold rolled steel instead of the standard 1/2".
All milled, no flame cuts, so no warpage.
All holes were bored to size, not just drilled.
Also included are the main arm piviot pin and the swing arm backing block pin, required because of the thicker arms. These are made from 4340 hardened chrome moly steel.
The main frame spacer and swing arm spacer is also included.
This is the setup to assemble a super stout hydro bender. Here is a link describing how to add a hydro system to a JD2 bender.

No stand or ratchet assembly is included or needed if you go hydro, so why pay for it?
I only have one, and won't be making another.
$450 plus Fedex shipping from 85041 at 49lbs!
PM me for pics.
