Got back last night. We went in wentworth and made it to the box. This was a winch REQUIRED trip. The snow is melting fast, but dont think about goin in even this next weekend if you aint fully locked, and properly prepared including winch, and proper winching straps and equipment. Everyone we encountered was nice, and all were being good to the trail, no bypasses etc. except for some quad that tore up wentworth campground and ripped around off the trail. Also I was disapointed to see some unecesaryly cut trees just before the tree area before the sluice, the was carved in the stump 1-12-02 and the stump was 4 feet tall because some AHOLE cut a good tree because he shouldn't have been in there to begin with if thats the crap he does. Anyway, good trip, good fun, good beers:D
P.S. TREAD LIGHTLY, and dont F it up for the rest of us:mad3: :skull:

We almost always go in through wentworth springs, It was interesting not knowing what to expect. We were the first ones through in a long time, I figure this do to having to remove trees from the trail, even the paved section was still a challenge. this was the first time I had to winch while on pavement, ok so the pavement was under the snow, but still:D I say this home built rig a guy from Orangevale built, it was single person wide but sat 2, 1 behind the driver, rear motor, windows, and roof, with 44" swampers, It looked like a snow cat with swampers on it, but it wasn't. the guy was nice and his rig rocked. If someone got pics of this guys rig i'd love to have some!!
