I'm getting ready to change the steering systems in my TJ for a new 60 axle. Are the people running the Rock Ram set-up happy? Or if you had the chance to do it over again would you have done something different?

I am very happy with mine, zero problems.... But I will be selling mine, because I am going to go to full hydro.

Some things I've noticed with my AGR, that I believe are causing people who have an AGR and think their system is "going out".

If you roll over and loose tons of P/S fluid, the system gets air in the system. Even if you fill the reservoir up, the pump will howl like a pig on fire. The only way to quiet it back down is to bleed the system. This requires jacking the front end up and turning the wheels from lock to lock (with the engine OFF) about 30 times, or until you quit seeing bubbles burp out of the reservoir.

From what I've seen, Howe has the sweetest ram assist setup. But it's pretty expensive.

Try Matt at www.westtexasoffroad.com

Much cheaper and a great guy to deal with. Matt has been easy to reach and very helpfull in dealing with some issues I had due to my setup (42" TSLs with 4" BS with an 8" rim and only 4" lift caused clearance problems). He is also on PBB as TheLakeRat. Give him a call...
