Does anyone sell HD drag link/tie rod assemblies for '74 Waggy front ends? I can't go high steer so it needs to bolt in the stock location. Need something beefy :D

Do some searching - there are lots of companies that will custom cut a tie-rod & drag link to the length you request and you can also order heim joints and all the necessary hardware you need. You can do it as cheap as you like or buy custom setups (expensive).

My setup is from Performance Unlimited (Bulletproof Steering). It costs more but I don't have the time to get parts separately/cheaper.

There are also waggys that had flat top knuckles. I know of one by me with them....not aftermarket either.

X2 on Parts Mike.
I searched all over for a Waggy Tierod and found nothing.
Ended up going with Parts Mike for mine.
It was delivered in 3 days
You will have to swap out the drag link also.

I already have the flat knuckles I just can't do high steer because my big 'ol thick spring pack is sitting on top of the cast iron center section housing. There is just no way the tie rod would clear the top of the spring. Really don't want to have to deal with the whole custom order thing anymore...still looking for a BOLT IN assembly if anyone knows of one

I am using Sky tall arms.
I think they are 1 inch taller.
They use the standard studs so you may be able to use them and spacers if needed.
Not sure if I would want to do that but it is an idea.

I personally would run the chev 1 ton T.R.E.'s and use inserts into 1.5" .250" dom tubing. Quick and easy to build and you can lift the vehicle by it. The only thing is you will have to expand the taper in your arms just a bit for them to fit.
