I did a search, no match!!

I have a 78 Ford F250 with D60 front and rear. Are the F250 front d60's the same as the F350 d60's? Today, someone told me there was a difference, but I have never heard that before. Also, why would there be a semi-float d60 in the rear? I thought all 78-79 F250's had the full float d60's?

F250/F350 60's are the same.

just to clarify what Dean said, 78-79 F250/350 D60s are identical. If there's a semi-float in the rear, I'd have to say it was swapped in. To my knowledge, Ford didn't start using 8 lug semi-float 60's untill the 80s.
