: anyone swap a chevy dana 44 HD in a CJ

Just wanted to know what did you use for the steering linkage if i don't go with high steering.

And if someone could also tell me how can i mesure the dana 30 so that i could transfert the same mesument on the dana 44.

I believe on a CJ you have to outboard your springs, if you dont go high steer try using the stock ford linkage drill out your pitman arm to fit the ford dragling, Im not sure if my advice is what your looking for but maybe I helped

As far as transfering measurements from one axle to the other, I hate to say it but it doesn't work like that!!! You need to relocate your leaf springs to work with the spring perches on the replacement front axle. The rear will work fine with new perches welded to match the CJ springs. Consider fabbing a traction bar at this time also!!!
