My mom just moved to LA so i'm spending the summer after june 20th there. I'll also be there from this saturday (11th) to next wednesday (15th). I don't know anyone or any trails in the area, although i know the hammers aren't too far. Does anyone wanna hit some trails between sunday and wed? I dont' really want to go out saturday as i will have just driven 1200 miles the day before.

Hammers are going to start getting real toasty here in the next few weeks. When you move down here in june Im sure there will be some runs going on. I know the weekend of the june 20 bobbed83toy and myself were thnking about hitting truckhaven at night. Also I think in july or August a bunh of us plan to gettogether in big bear again for a weekend. Not very hard trails but a fun weekend of meeting others on the board.

Starts cooling down in mid October. The best places in SoCal
during the summer are Big Bear area and Los Coyotes Indian
Reservation.

It's common for the SoCal folks to do a pilgrimage to NoCal at least once in the summer, so don't leave Cali without doing the Rubicon & Dusy/Ershim.

If you can't make, don't worry, you'll be back.
