alright i have an ididit steering column and was wondering if anyone had the same column and what steering wheel you guys used?

idiot = gm tilt? use a grant wheel, i run one on my cruist steering column! they make em for the gm too, its just teh hub hit thats different! jiMMy

Speaking of which, does anyone know if you can use a 60 series tilt column on a 40 series? I have access to a real cheap one (read: free) and was wondering if I should nab it for a future FJ40...

I sure hope so.
If I can get into the garage and get started I have an FJ60 steering system from the drag link to the tilt column that I am planning on installing into my 82 FJ40. I'll let you know how it goes.
I have matched it up and it looks like it will work but you know what happens when you actually start into the project.

I have am 81 stock PS and I put it in a 78, but the PS box is about an inch taller. so my steering column doesn't bolt to the firewall anymore, any suggestions?
