: 4.2-4.0 timing cover/oil pan

:confused: Been searching and havent found much of good info, Just need to know if a 4.2L timing cover and oil pan will fit on a 4.0 block?

Well im just about to put the oil pan on tonight and and i can totally verify that the 4.2 timing cover and oil pan IS NO WHERE CLOSE to the same as a 4.0 it hits the sump tube right on the back of the oilpan. just to verify this for the rest of you all.
