Does anybody know the O.D. of the stub on the Birf(the end that slips into the locking hub)?

Same as inner axle. Should be 30 spline 1.30: (or so)

Thanks;) Reason I ask is that I pulled some Sammi stuff at the Pick a Part this weekend which included a very clean pair of Aisin hubs. Just hoping they will work with my mini truck birfs on the 40:D

Are LC birfs and mini truck birfs the same?

I really doubt Sammy birfields are the same as Toyota. Really really doubt it :).

I was just really, really hoping they would work ;) The price was good, they are super clean, and they looked the exact same on the outuside ;)

ive seen that too, the hub looks exactly the same, but i think the bolts holding it on are smaller, and i know for a fact the axles on the sammi are smaller

a long way smaller, but maybe the spline is the saem and it slides in?

Aisin hubs from a sammy will not work. The diameter of the birfield is smaller on the sammy.

I think the Sami hubs will work if you swap out the spline gears for the mini truck ones with 30 splines. So you basically have some really clean hub bodies now with useless internals.
