I swapped a scout box on to my rig a while back but never got around to plumbing it. Now it's been so long that I can't find the banjo fittings or bolts that I snagged when I pulled it.

Does anyone know the size of banjos bolts and fittings off hand or better yet where I can buy them?

Also, I see that the two bolts are different sizes. Which one is the high pressure side and which is the return?

The steel fittings are rare. Summit will have the aluminum ones, but I would call Van at Toll Free: 800-256-6295 Local Ph: 323-563-1588
http://www.vancopbs.com/ that's were I got mine.

WTF are you talking about? I'm lost here. I have never seen a Scout (or any other Saginaw for that matter) power steering box with banjo bolts/fittings.

R290 - Thanks for the links. That helped out quite a bit.

Mechanos - this one had banjos on it. Now that I search through pics a little more I'm seeing that a lot of the saginaws do just have steel fittings. I suppose I can just go that route too.

What I need to do is adapt the current Nissan high pressure line in to the Scout box. I have a hard line and then about 6" of soft line going to the stock box. I need to add a couple inches along with the correct fitting for the new box. The low pressure side is no problem, obviously.

OK, so from the pics I've seen now, the small fitting is the return and the large is the high pressure.

Since I'm from Missouri.... I'm gonna need a picture of that before I can fully believe it. :flipoff2:

The hose is a simple fix. Just take your existing Nissan line and another line from that JY that fits the box into a place that makes hydraulic hoses. Tell them you want a new hose xx" long with the Nissan fitting on one end that the correct fitting for the box on the other end. They just reuse the old fittings/ends and just crimp a new piece of hose onto them.

As soon as I can find the damn fittings I'll snap a pic! I do have the banjo bolts themselves...found those last night!

Looking in my JEGS catalog, Russell makes power steering adapters that are stainless steel. part 799-648050 is -6 AN to 11/16-18, don't have the other part number.
