OK couldn't really find any where else to put this since I don't really have a jeep or a ford or a dodge, etc.
Heres the story. I have a Dana 60 in the rear of my 52 Willys pickup. After a number of years of running it its time for a locker. I want to go to a higher spline count, preferably 35. Currently it is running 27 spline axles :(. I have heard tell of some shops being able to bore out the spindles so the larger axles will fit. I can get help installing the locker and can get the axles from Moser or Strange. Primarily I just need info on the spindle boring.
Anyone done this? Know of a shop in SoCal. I hear that Hicks can do it, but am having trouble getting through to them lately.
