You could look up the "Snapperheads" aka Ventura County
Axle Snappers, but I'm not sure you'd like to hang with that
bunch. I hear they're rude, crude and socially unexceptable.:D :D :D :D :flipoff2: :vader2:

I could probably wheel the little sluice blindfolded and with one hand tied behind my back !! I can hold my own when it comes to wheelin so maybe instead of asshole remarks I could get a few honest opinions!

I think that I will be in Long Beach or Northridge not sure yet, but even if there are no extreme trails close by there has got to be some extreme wheelers!

My club is based a little far from LA (80 miles or so). Drop me a line when you get out here, we'll take you to the Hammers. I'd like to see that blind-folded, one-armed thing on Sledge.

Serioulsy,

You can find some moderate but cool stuff up by us in Arrowhead/Big Bear or drive another 40 miles and be in extreme heaven/hell AKA Johnson Valley.

Regards

I am a fashion merchandising major, and I looked at pomona but I really don't know anything about it...I am going to visit some schools this summer...Yeah I know there are some good trails I am looking forward to the hammers, death valley(if any is left open), ect... but I just need to find some people to wheel with! There is bound to be more wheelin than in Waco TX!

hmm, yea thought maybe you were a engineering major or something. what you lookin for, there are some fun trails in big bear area. there is also azusa caynon. as far people to run with, depends on what your looking for. you can find the old school jeeps with 31's, or the maniacs with 38's. have you checked the jeep section of the BB? you might find some people there. i woudl wheel with you but i dont know what you consider extreme. i am running a toyota with 31's and open diffs. translation: not extreme. but ill give anything a try.

Well Iam one of those with 38's so I am looking for some extreme trail action...I would love to run into you tin benders at the hammers...no need to be gentle I know what I am doing on the trail...Just because i am a fashion major doesn't mean that I need to be baby'd it just mean I look super cute while fixing sh*t on the trail ;)

Funny I didnt know that running 36's meant you had 38's. I guess since I am planning to run 42's sometime that makes my current tires 38's. Dang thats cool. :smokin:

We're 10 minutes from Northridge, and about 45 from LB depending on traffic...I would suggest Northridge, it'll put you 35 minutes closer to the Hammers...look us up when you get in town...we wander out to the hammers once in a while and play with the :bender: Benders :D

AKJeepGirl......I will be back in LA for school soon too. There is good wheeling in SoCal....i was living about 10 miles from LB state, you will have to drive an hour or so to get to places, but it is doable. I usually just go with friends as opposed to a club, but if you are after a club the Cal4wheel page is a good place to look. You are always welcome to join my possey when we head out.........:smokin:
