: Jeep Dana 300
Justin Messer 05-07-2002, 01:11 PM I'm looking for info on using a Jeep D300 in my 79' Scout with the 727 auto. I know there is some old posts about it. Couldnt find all the information I needed by doing a search though, so I thought I'd re-ask. Jeep D300's are just so much cheaper. Which is what has led me to try this.

ol John Henry 05-07-2002, 01:17 PM Use a jeep or dodge tail housing and shaft. I think the dodge has a shorter housing:p

robc10x 05-07-2002, 01:29 PM I just lucked into a pair of '80s w/the 727/D300 combo. I agree they are too expensive, and so wanna offload these at a reasonable price. What're Jeep D300's going for? I was thinking $3-400 max. Am I off base?:blender:

With a bull gear that is more than reasonable I regularly see scout d300s go for 500-600 with a bull gear. I wouldn't pay that ;) , but a lot do...
I have seen jeep cases in the 100-200 range
Justin Messer 05-07-2002, 01:50 PM Fauking newbies! I did a search too!
I got those posts. I guess the text just wasnt easy enough for my simple mind.

Sure what time? It will let me forget that I'm not going to Calrocs and just working on the scout. Baja Binder will be around as well.

I can swing back through Stockton and drop off your keg. That means I can test out the T-all on 4 coming home!
