I was just wondering about the springs that I am running on my CJ5 I run the 2.5 lift rancho stock width CJ springs on the front S.O.A and I was wondering what the downfalls are with running these, I see everyone using waggys or yjs springs so whats up? The CJs work fine so far flex good, ride good, no real downfall for me whats the advantage with the yjs or waggys? Only thing that I can think of is that they move the axle forward but I have a coustom frame and the axle is already 3" farther forword than stock.

Everyone uses waggy because they will bolt into factory mounts on a YJ and they have a 2" offset pin so you can gain wheelbase while you are at it.

Dude, Like I said I ran those springs for years in my 7 . They work
great! They would use every ounce of travel that my 9012's had!
