Here is the 1702 Jeep at a BFG pit where we replaced the left front shock. Team 1701 let us use one of there spares and got us back in the game. However, the shock failure really set us back by slowing us down for the first two sections and took up alot of time in the pits.

What failed on the shock and what brand? I am curious, nothing more.

It was a Sway Away shock. The body came loose with the upper mount and rotated which allowed the tire to rip off the reservoir.

That was tech - and I was WAY hungover from the night before :flipoff2:

But here is Bar 1 and Bar 2 in LaPaz with the WINNERS! (Corona and Pacifico...Tracy Jordan is in the background of Bar 2 - it was great to see him there smiling!)
