If am going to run SOA 2.5" springs on a scout dana 44, how bad will the pinion angle be and would it be necessary to rotate the knuckles?? I dont want to if I dont have to

You will in no way be able to drive on the street without a cut and turn.

Its not that difficult. I did/doing it on my Scout D44. I'm gonna run SOA with JCWhitney stock 7leaf hd CJ springs. The hardest part is grinding the welds off. Once that is done all thats need is a BFH and an angle finder. Other than that its a piece of cake.
Oh yeah, it is definitely needed. Otherwise no go.

i have done a few scout fronts and it isn't that hard. the first one will kick your but if you don't know what you are looking for. you need to grind the weld out that hold the knuckle in place on the tube. grind it untill you can see a definate separation of the knuckle and tube. you will see a crack all the way around. once you see the crack you are ready. if you can't see the crack you need to grind more.
