: working on a 92 f 250 that has no fire

im working on a 92 f250 4x4 the moter just quit the other day while driving down the road. i have changed the magnetic pick up, the starter sylinoid, the coil, roter, and the module on the fire wall, and still cant get any fire from the coil :confused:

Check the entire wiring harness for loose connections and bad grounds.

First of all why change the starter relay if it died. That don't make any sence. Second I'm not sure what module on the fire wall you change, the ignition module on that I beleive is on the side of the distributor. I could be wrong though.

Have you checked to see if there is power on both sides of the coil when the key is on? And if there is one should flash (The Ground Side ) when it is cranking and the other should stay on solid. Have you checked that?

my 92 the relay went bad there on the left fender next to the air box it was all it took think i swapped the horn relay with the engine control one and it fired up

Powertrain Control Module power relay located on the drivers side inner fender. Jumper the yellow wire (power) to the red wire.

WHat codes are you getting?

could be the tfi, or the hall sensor inside the dizzy if you are not getting a flash on the wire.

it the fuel pump still pumping?and what engine is it 302s can jump time and ruin your week.
