I have a 92' EFI 351 out of an F150, I have it in my crawler already and have a 79' Ford Np435(4 speed) behind it but am running the 92' flywheel because of the different balancing. tired of the four speed I want to put a C6 behind it now but I don't know what to change to make it work? The C6 I planned on useing is an 84' bronco(I don't think that matters) but I suppose I will have to use a 92' auto flywheel because of balance but I had a tanny guy tell me it is going to run into problems because he said the matching between the torque converter and the 92' flywheel aren't going to work right and there are 3 different ways( or something) to set the depth's of the trans, pump. I don't know anything about automatics what is this guy tring to tell me and what can I do about it?
Thanks Jason

- as far as i know there are only 2 diffrent bal. a 28 oz and a 50 oz - you should be able to use the flex plate from a 87-89 f150 / bronc with a 351 - as they had factory a c6 and efi - balance is the same - :D

ANY AOD flex plate from a 5.0 -5.8 will work. I'm using an AOD flex plate between my 5.0L and C6. Hell, I used the same flex plate when I had a C4. Mine came out of an 88 GT

The balancing never changed on the 351... Your tranny guy is feeding you a line of bull.
A C6 is a C6 and a C6 flexplate is a C6 flexplate.

Besides, the C6 was still offered in 92... no big deal.
