Will I just bought a TJ and I am planning on putting a 9inch in it. Is thier any years to stay way from. Or ones that are stronger then others. Any help would be great.

I did a search but did not find what I am looking for.

If you are trying to stay at about the same width your best bet is probably a 9 inch out of a 76-77 Bronco. They are 58 inch WMS to WMS. Those two years alse have big bearing and big brakes. Only 28 spline axles though. I don't think that you can get everything that would be ideal in a 9 inch without going full width.

try to find one with the big bearing option, then call up Moser and get 40 spline shafts :D You wont break those sunzabitches

I am getting ready to throw a 9" in from a 73 Torino into my TJ. It is around 60 to 61" WMS to WMS, is 5 on 4.5 pattern, and comes with police drums. Will be switching to leafs too in the rear.
