I plan to use the Pivot system that the radio box (404.1) is attached to. Will attach my camper frame to this. Right now it is taking me a 30 mins or more to remove each screw that goes thru the wood floor into the pivoting frame,, IF they come out at all. at $550/month rental on my shop space I need to move faster than this. Im way way behind. (working a 6 day a week job does not help)
Plan for tommorow is to use a hole saw and just cut a cirlce out around each screw.
Question!!! There is the main pivot structure and then additional bracing attached to the structure and the box floor bolts too all this. This bracing appears to be more of extra floor supports than it is part of the pivot structure.
My campers floor will have its own bracing. sooooo for speed sake what will be faster (and allow use of the box for storage container orrr??). NOT remove the screws from these addional braces but cut the bracing off from the main pivot structors with a torch and cuttting wheel leaving them attached to the box floor? This way I have less thru the floor screws to remove but cutting and torching to do ....or... by using the hole saw; cut around twice the number of screws thus remove them all from these smaller braces. This will leave the braces all attached to the swivel frame.
I just dont know if these braces are going to be needed to support the radiobox floor once it is removed. Himm guess I could just whole saw around every bolt then bolt in some 4x4's under the Box floor for bracing?
What would ya'll do?
