Have An 88 Burban Lifted It 6-8 Im Having A Hard Time Trying To Find Longer Shocks On Manufactuers Spec Sheets

My Fronts Are Inner Front 21.00 extended 12.875 Collapsed With 8.125 Travel With A Mounting Style Of LS40 Top And Bottom

Outter Front 18.250 Ex 11.875 collapsed 6.375 Trav Mount Style Ls37 T&B

Rears Are 22.875 Ext. 14.125 Collapsed 8.750Trav Ls47 Bottom Mount L1/Cp5 Upper Mount

I Was Thinking Of Finding Stock Application Shocks That Were 6" Longer Extended Than The Fronts. For Use With Stock Mounts

And Hopefully Find 8" Longer Extended For The Rear Or Get Something Like A 6 And Fab Some New Mounts Atop The Rearend.

My Goal Is To Get Some Gabriel Or Such Brand Shocks From A Major Parts Store Backed By A Lifetime Warranty.

And Hopefully In The Process Save Some $$ Over The Price Of Say 6 Rancho Lifted Shocks Or Similar.

Any Info Part Numbers Or Links For Shock Dimension/Part Number Charts

Would Be Greatly Apreciated . Im Sure Some Others Could Benefit From The Same Idea.

Maybe not what u are looking for, but go to superlift.com and check out their shock application sheet. It has all the info about their shocks, find the one u want. Then click on their scratch and dent link to ebay, these shocks are $10 apiece. Maybe not want u want, just my .02. I just recieved 4 from them, look like new just a couple of minor cosmetic marks.

i bought all my shocks and some shims from them on ebay. Shocks are just fine, maybe a ding here or there but nothing that you wouldnt do to them anyways by just using them.

http://www.monroe.com/catalog_lookup/ocl_miscappinfo.asp
all the info you ned is on that page
particularly this pdf file
http://www.monroe.com/pdf/ShockAbsorberDimensionCharts.pdf

be a bit liberal on the mounting hole dimensions and you can find a shock that fits. ie convert metric to standard etc.
start by finding the extended length you want, I just looked for the longest available then looked at mounting styles (the mounting style codes differ from rauncho and monroes lists iirc so put that sheet in front of you while you search)

Yeah i had looked at that pdf i coudlnt find anything that seemed the right lenght

I found one that I think would work for my Outer Front Its Specs Are 25.00 EX 15.125 Collapsed 9.875 Trav P/N 32270

Im Not Seeing Alot Of Super Long Shocks On The Monroe Pdf I thought 88-98 Rear Chevys Were Extra Long.

My Goal Is To Get Four Shocks To Bolt In With Minor Mods To the Shock Into The Front

And If I have to modify the rear mounts to be lower or higher thats Fine .

And Also thats a hell of a deal on the superlift blem and scratch sale.

I just coulndt find the P/N That i require.

I assume the stuff they have for sale changes depending on whats been blemished.

what do you consider extra long?
the 5012 is only 31" extended and people thinkk that is extra long.
I am running Monroes that are the same length from searching that pdf
