The "pin" is a 1.25"x6" bolt. The hanger is forged Alum with a bronze insert. You might be surprized what a 1.25" grade 8 bolt and nyloc nut cost! They have a guy sitting on a 35 inch tire with it swung out and it doesn't look like it is deflecting at all.
