Anyone convert their front D60 to use something like this?

D60 come OEM with either the U-bolt style or the strap style (weaker of the two OEM offerings).

I"m looking to get something like those billet units to replace my U-bolt type u-jt retainer. I think it should clamp better and give a more even pressure on the u-jt caps. Any other vendors offer this kind of setup? Or is really not a worthwhile upgrade if I already have the OEM U bolt style?

I have never had a strap fail on my dana 60. And I have worked it pretty hard on the rocks.. If you want stronger then up grade to the 1410 pinion yoke.

Keep in mind that by using those you will likely reduce the maximum operating angle of the joint.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'll probably just stick with the OEM U bolt retainers based on your input.
