Where can I find a tranny mount for a t-18 4 speed for my 72 scout II. All of the local parts stores say they can't even order them. The scout project is almost done, and this is one of the last things that I need to have it ready.

Not really the board for this kind of question, but click on the link in my sig. RPT mounts are available for your scout.

Your local semi truck suppler h may carry Dyco and your local IH dealer will have OEM rubber ones and dyco ones.

There's the ticket. Since IHC used that isolator in Loadstars and other MD rigs we're not limited to LL dealers. The only reason I bought mine from LLofLa (which was somewhat of a fiasco...but that's another story) is that I was also ordering a poly fuel tank and other parts from them at the time. I also got the two sleeves for the mount because my stockers were whipped.
Go with the Dyco part (buy two for this application) as the poly is much more resistant to rot (and oil softening from the IH-drip).
