Has anyone done this? They are alot cheaper than beadlocks & work just as well.

Yep they work just as well...UNTIL they rip your tire to shreads when the twist out/break off.!! Been there done that.

isnt the idea to keep the air inside the tire, that setup wont be able to hold air, the screws to dont distribute the pressure around the entire bead well enough to hold it in place, your setup will rip the tire to shiat!:blender:

They work well for keeping the tire from spinning on the rim, like during a hard drag launch, but have minimal bennifit keeping the bead on off road. Tears the tire up BAD, makes re-seating impossible w/o removing the screws first, and first grind on a rock makes it a real bitch to remove the mangled heads.

I have those same things and I just lost a tire at 15psi. They fawken suck! Pay the money for the real deal or don't air down so much. You get what you pay for. I'm only lucky I carry a spare.
