Anyone know if the complete serpentine system from a '90 TBI 350cid would bolt right up on a stock 1976 350cid?

Yes, but you need the reverse rotation waterpump from the 90.

and the fan assy.

How good are you at welding?

You can take the '90 drive and modify it a little bit to work with standard rotation pump on your '76. I used an '88 model on my 400. It's been a couple years (and two computers) since I built it, but I might me able to find some pics on backup disk somewhere.

I was worried about the water pump pulley slipping with only a quarter of the belt on the pulley, but I have never had any trouble. I don't know about the fan, I run electric.

Here is one picture that I can put my hands on now,

I could not find the fab pictures, just finished pictures.

Use a cutoff wheel and cut the PS bracket, you have to take a small slice out of this one to bring it forward. The Alternator has to move backward about an inch or so. Split it with the cutoff wheel and add a short splice. I used a straight edge off the crank pulley to make sure I had them inline properly.

Good weld prep, good weld and clean up, and you can't even tell it was modified.

yup it all bolts up , simple and easy ... just gotta run the water pump and rev. rotation fan for that setup. its a good mod to do in my opinion.

Thanks for the replies!! I'm already running an electric fan, and I planned on upgrading to a Flowkooler pump anyways, so now I'll just get the reverse-rotation unit and be done with it. Appreciate the info fellas!!

Out of curiousity how would that differ from the serpentine set-up from a 96-99 5.7? I'm thinking bigger a/c assembly and...?

Get some a/c tools and have the pulley changed over to the newer style.
